eric is such a bamf.
Expectations are what make us human. Without them, we would be too lost, too helpless. We like to feel in control all the time. We take it for granted that the next day's gonna be this or that way. We like to plan ahead because we're scared of what the unknown future might bring. We want to know what's going to happen before it does, even though it ruins the surprise of it, because it the end, we are pathetic and impatient masochists.
That is why many people hate surprises.
It ruins their perfectly laid out plans.
