The irony is, you probably think we're the jokes around here.
I don't know if the whole cultural-maestro/brainy neuroscientist is an act or not.
If it's not, well I can't help it if that's your aspiration. I mean, I have my own, and I wouldn't like someone to belittle them.
You don't need to trample our dreams along your mighty way, though.
So what if you want to be a doctor? A lawyer?
Nothing wrong with that, but you don't have to think: "Oh, my dream jobs are sooo perfect, who wants to be a gardener? A teacher? They'll never make it."
Newsflash: You might not make it either.
If it's an act, I have nothing to say except: Your job doesn't make you. Do you think we're impressed by your lofty dreams?
Also, if you do something because you love it, it isn't a job.

Note: the above is directed at no one in particular (really) but a bunch of characters in life.

Actually it's just a difference in priorites.
But I don't think it's fair.
